Catering for your group is a breeze as Timberlodge offers a large and well-equipped kitchen containing a commercial cooker with gas hobs and an electric oven, two sinks, a dishwasher, two double height fridges, a double height freezer, a microwave oven, a water boiler, toasters and a food warming cabinet. You will find all cookware, crockery and cutlery needed for an enjoyable stay available for your use in the kitchen area.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a light and airy dining room with seating for up to 48 and containing a television (with freeview channels). And when you are not eating, this large space can be put to any use that you like – simply fold the tables away and stack the chairs and you have a large meeting room, yoga studio, or whatever you would like it to be!

A separate lounge with comfortable seating offers a retreat from the main space and is perfect for relaxing with a book, browsing a map of the day’s activities, or offering a breakout space for a smaller group of guests.

Other facilities include a large purpose-built drying room suitable for drying hiking equipment and wet clothing, a washing machine, showers, and men’s, ladies’ and accessible washrooms. There is also a sauna adjacent to the showers.

All bedrooms are set up with bunk beds and benefit individual radiators and double glazing to keep you warm. We ask that each guest should bring their own sleeping bag, pillow cases and towels please.

Parking is available (suitable for coaches and trailers). However, spaces are limited to a maximum of around 13 cars. If your group has more vehicles than this, some may need to park off-site.

Timberlodge also benefits from a lockable storage building ( on request) capable of holding kayaks, canoes, mountain bikes, caving equipment etc.

Barbeques are also available on request for al fresco dining (Please contact us in advance of your stay to book one in). Apologies but because of the wooden nature of our lodges disposable BBQs and fire pits are not permitted.

Free wifi is available throughout the lodge. (Please note however that due to our rural location that download speeds are limited).

Timberlodge is a no smoking building and we regret that we cannot accept pets.

Enjoy a full extra day with late check-out:

It is often possible to extend your stay in Timberlodge from the normal 10am departure time to full day use leaving up to 8pm for a small additional cost. Please ask when enquiring

Check-in and check-out times:

Check-in is from 4pm on the day of your arrival and check-out is by 10 am on the date of your departure (unless late check-out has been agreed as above)
